Who You'll Work With

Cisco CSG (Core Software Group)’s Enterprise Network Group develops software and solutions for next generation network for Enterprise, Cloud and SP managed Service.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop Cisco ASR1K/CSR1Kv/ISR4K's forwarding infra and services including Software Defined WAN(SD-WAN), Application Visibility & Control (AVC), Policy & performance routing, QoS, BGP Flowspec, MPLS VPN & Segment Routing, multicast/BIER & VPN, IP tunnels & IPSec VPN etc.Define detailed testing strategies for a new product or release;

  • Interface with DE, marketing, customers, and partners to understand product

  • deployment scenarios and use cases

  • Design and document feature, integration, stress, performance, and solution tests

  • Execute feature, performance, solution and regression tests, log problem reports, reproduce problems, and verify fixes

  • Work closely with DE and TAC in recreation and resolution of customer reported problems

  • Automate and execute feature, integration, performance, and solution tests;

  • Participate in test escape analysis and refine test process and/or regression test suites

  • Contribute to and review Engineering and end user documentation, product requirements, functional specifications, test plans, product literature, trouble-shooting guide, configuration guide, command reference, and release notes

  • Participate in cross-functional test efforts

  • Train, or help other Engineers on the team on need basis

  • Support global customer deployment.

Who You Are

  • Familiar with routing protocols such as OSPF/BGP, knowledge of Ethernet, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP;

  • Experience on network testing;

  • Python or TCL programming experience on Linux;

  • Jenkins experience will be a plus;

  • Familiar with one of traffic generator (IXIA, SPIRENT, IPERF, TRex, etc);

  • Cisco certifications will be a plus; e.g. CCNA/CCNP/CCIE;

  • QoS,NAT, IPv6 knowledge will be a plus;

  • Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies such as Docker, KVM, Vmware is a plus;

  • Knowledge of network orchestration & SDN Controller technologies such as Openstack, Open Daylight etc. is a plus;

  • Good English and Chinese communication skills (both written and verbal);

  • Educational Background:

  • Typically requires MSEE/CS/Automation Control

  • Prefer Master background
