We’re seeking a strategic, creative, and analytical Demand Generation marketer who can partner with our sales team to drive quality leads through thoughtful offline and online marketing campaigns. To get results, you’ll need to be a self-starter who is hungry for growth and project ownership, able to think strategically, willing to experiment, and have a laser-focused ability to execute with consistent quality.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing our customer marketing strategy for Japan. You will own foundational demand generation elements of the Meraki marketing machine and partner with internal cross-functional teams, as well as Cisco counterparts in region, to bring new innovative campaigns to life. These elements include, but are not limited to, generating high quality content that tells the Meraki story for customers; building acquisition campaigns to support lead generation efforts; and creating marketing programs to drive inbound activity. You will also be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive forces in region.
Develop multi-channel customer acquisition campaigns, including elements such as webinars, emails, retargeting, SEM, display, offline channels, etc. to align with lead and revenue goals
Report on campaign effectiveness to determine ROI
Own relationships with media vendors/publishers and account teams
Work with Cisco marketing teams to find opportunities to insert Meraki into broader Cisco marketing initiatives in the region
Tell high-impact stories about our customers, through case studies, webinars, email marketing and videos
Collaborate cross-functionally to create relevant region-specific resources and collateral to enable sales teams to easily position and sell Meraki
3+ years of experience in marketing, tech marketing preferred
Prior experience with a marketing automation program (Marketo preferred)
Proven experience creating marketing content to drive top of funnel activity
Innovative and creative problem-solver with strong communication skills
Exceptional collaborator, open to idea/project iteration
Able to prioritise and execute on multiple work streams, project manage across multiple teams
Positive attitude, humour, and strong work ethic
Ability to travel 5-10% in region and to San Francisco
Fluency in Japanese
