What You'll Do

Come help build Cisco's partner community, our #1 route to market. The primary responsibility of the Partner Account Manager is to work with Cisco's Partners to develop and grow a profitable business focused on Cisco Solutions. The candidate will work with his/her assigned Partners to develop plans that bring incremental revenue to Cisco and to his/her Partners in strategic focus areas. The PAM will build awareness of the competitive landscape and educate our Partners on strategies to position their Cisco based solutions for success against current and emerging competitors. Candidates should be "team players" with strong communication skills who can work cross-functionally within Cisco to develop ideas, share best practices and execute business plans.

In this Partner Account Manager role your success will reflect in sales achievements, long term customer relationships and happiness. In this job you will:

Focus on an excellent partner experience and become your partners’ trusted advisor

You will own and develop Cisco Partner Strategy Plan to drive incremental business for both our companies by developing new joint offerings, defining Go-to-market strategies and ensuring the sales execution in the field.

Orchestrate cross-functional Cisco team members to deliver complete business solutions.

Work closely with the Cisco teams, to drive the strategy and delivery of new solutions, products and services.

You will plan and execute the strategy in order to meet the agreed landmarks and timescales and to ensure that sales targets are achieved or exceeded.

You will identify and develop new business opportunities.

You will deliver accurate business metrics, both qualitative and quantitative

You will anticipate any change in the opportunities, market, partner needs and requirements that could impact the overall revenue target.

Who You'll Work With

As Partner Account Manager you will work closely with Partner Systems Engineers, Partner Development Managers and other Cisco Channel Team, General Managers of Architecture, and Cisco Account Managers to ensure alignment and consistency with their Partner’s focused efforts. You will also work closely with the Cisco teams to understand their business and better align to the local business environment. A great team of hard driving individuals.

Who You Are

To join us, you should come with:

5+ year experience working with at a Manufacturer or in the Technology Industry

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent experience

Fluency in German and English languages

Demonstrate success in achieving and exceeding sales targets

A deep understanding and experience in developing trusted partner relationships from working level to Executive level

Desired Skills:

Business acumen in Cloud technologies, Software sales, Managed Services and different partner business models

A business background that enables engagement with Business Decision Makers along with a sales background that will enable collaboration within Cisco and our Partner community

A demonstrated ability to act as a general business manager and think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions for Partners

The skills to development a Business Plan that combines the Partner’s key initiatives and Cisco’s priorities for mutual success in the marketplace

A flexible personality to work within a geographically distributed and matrix environment.

A super flexible, positive, and creative attitude and can work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment

An autonomous thought process and ability to drive business results.

Strong communication and listening skills

Ability to establish relationships, gain consensus, rapidly establish credibility with and gain confidence of multiple areas across Cisco and Partners.

An understanding of how to frame client business and technical imperatives and inspire confidence with a variety of internal and external constituents.

The ability to develop and clearly articulate objectives using both analytical thinking, reference to facts and best practices
