What you'll do
This role will lead the development and execution of the services marketing plan for Cisco across Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) and work with designated colleagues.
You will report to the global Services marketing leader and operate within the APJ marketing team.
The role includes the following responsibilities in support of Cisco’s second largest business:
Support and maintain the omni channel journeys for the services buyer
Work with the regional omni-channel manager to build the customer omni- channel journey and touch point strategy for services
Lead the formulation and steer the execution of the services marketing plan in support of the company’s services leadership and growth targets
Engage with country sales leaders to understand business priorities, ensure they are reflected and supported in the country services marketing plan and communicate our marketing capability, strategy and execution in support of the business goals
Working closely with country marketing leaders, lead topic input into country marketing plans to drive awareness and demand for Cisco services in achievement of engagement, sales qualified leads and bookings influence targets. Ensure services is integrated across all programs
Working closely with global marketing colleagues, implement marketing campaigns to engage prospects and customers with compelling content and guide them along a journey of education, solution exploration and selection, using digital, social and face-to-face marketing interactions
Create compelling locally relevant content as needed using templates and guidelines to adhere to brand, journeys, targeted personas and creative platform guidelines
Conduct regular content audits to ensure relevance to customer needs, re-purposing and refreshing content on an ongoing basis as needed
Oversee content quality, messaging performance and optimization
Measure, analyze and share content performance to ensure effective and relevant campaigns that respond to customer and prospect needs and priorities
Test the content to ensure that it is impactful with Cisco's audience.
Actively monitor content that is available or under development both globally and in other countries.

Who You Are
We are looking for a committed and experienced professional who can demonstrate a creative and effective approach to communicating Cisco’s unique and compelling value in helping customers succeed. You should have a good understanding of the IT Services industry, market trends and the competitive environment and a good appreciation of customer challenges and needs. Our ideal candidate will have 10+ years of professional marketing experience in the technology industry, and should be able to demonstrate:
Ability to collaborate and work under pressure in a fast-paced matrixed organization
An established track record of developing impactful marketing content from conception through to execution
Experienced in all stages of creating a successful content campaign i.e. planning, strategy, execution and distribution
Strategic and tactical expertise in social media
Experienced in copywriting and editing whilst adhering to brand and tone of voice guidelines
Excellent organization and project management skills (editorial calendars, deadlines, vendor/agency management, budgets)
Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy
Comfortable collaborating with global/regional/local colleagues as part of a physical or virtual team
Self-motivated and has the ability to motivate and influence others
5+ years of professional content writing and marketing experience in the technology industry (either B2B or B2C)
Fluent in English
